School Community Challenge
The Elementary Schools wrapped up their month long Bank of Sun Prairie School Challenge at the end of March. Westside, Northside, Eastside, Bird, Creekside, Sacred Hearts and Horizon Schools collected the equivalent of almost 68,000 pounds of food that was transported to the Sun Prairie Food Pantry for distribution to families in need. Each year, the Bank of Sun Prairie provides cash prizes to the 4 schools collecting the most food. This year’s first place school is Sacred Hearts, they will receive $1000.00. Second Place goes to Horizon and for their efforts will receive $700.00. Placing 3rd place this year was Creekside, they will collect $500.00 In 4th place receiving $300.00 is C.H. Bird. A traveling trophy will be awarded to the first place school in an upcoming all school assembly along with a free sundae courtesy of Culvers Restaurant.

The Pantry has come to depend on this incredible donation that goes directly to families struggling with hunger.
